
Location: In the eastern part of Sozopol Bay between St. Kirik Island and Cape Skamnia, in the southern part of the port area near the Old Town.

Water area: part of the internal water area of the port of Sozopol, known as “Sozopol Harbor”.
The connection of the fishing port of Sozopol with the state road network is carried out through the city street network and the Sozopol-Burgas road. The total area of the terminal is 4121 sq.m. according to the act of private state property No. 4729 of June 24, 2009, entered in volume 18, No. 177, SG. REG. No. 5563 at the Registry Office – Burgas of June 24, 2009.
The port is registered with the Maritime Administration Executive Agency and has been issued a certificate of operational suitability.
The fishing boat pier is located in the coastal zone along Kraibrezhna Street. The length of the retaining wall, used as a pier for mooring fishing boats and for loading, unloading and servicing activities, is about 325 m.
The port facilities are designed to be streamlined, permeable, and to cause minimal disruption to the internal water regime of the Port of Sozopol. They refer to facilities that have a negligible impact on the currents in the port’s water area, with good hydraulic indicators – permeability and flowability.
The land part of the port is intended for parking light motor vehicles, vans and for the placement of vessels in the winter period. There are designated parking spaces for 65 cars, for vans – 18. The wider parking spaces for vans can be used during the winter months for bringing registered fishing boats with a width of up to 2.50 – 3.00 m to land.

The port was built in 1929 and until the end of the 1940s was operated as a passenger and commercial port. After the development of the fishing industry, it was operated for the docking of fishing ships and boats, for the delivery of fish catches and the docking and docking of passenger ships from regular lines. After the construction of a specialized fishing port in the 1980s, the operation was related only to passenger transport. The separated estuary was home to small yachts and fishing boats of local fishermen and yachtsmen.
Currently, customs, border, passport, veterinary and medical control and quarantine, sanitary control are not carried out on the territory of the port terminal.
